Destination: Jesus

State-Line Motorcycle Ministry is a non-profit organization based in Greenville, South Carolina that shares the love of Jesus with our nation's bikers. We have a Godly board of directors and a motorcycle minister. We witness at bike rallies and bike runs. We hold Bible classes, sponsor retreats and host Sunday Bible Studies. Because where most people see a frightening, intimidating biker, God sees a disciple.

The goal of State-Line Motorcycle Ministry is to introduce our nation's bikers to Jesus and lead them to local churches and Christian organizations, so their passion for Christ exceeds their passion for riding. We're here to create disciples on two wheels.

Cherokee Rally

The weather was great and there were actually two rallies going on at the same time; one in Cherokee and the other in Maggie Valley NC. Friday was slow but we did have bikers stop by…Chuck came up and spent the day with us. He comes to our Sunday services each week. Dean was with me helping out during the whole three day rally.

We reunited with a biker named ‘Weasel’ who I witnessed to back in 1992 on Main Street in Daytona Beach, FL. He did not accept Christ then and told me that if he ever wants to get saved, he wants me to lead him to Christ. I have not seen him for about 6 years and he showed up at this rally. I spoke with him and he remembers what he promised me about getting saved. I had a good talk with him about Christ; but still not saved.

I met Ted and Beverly from Tennessee and we talked for a while as well. They said they are saved. Saturday was very busy and lots of bikers stopped and took study books and bibles.

Prayer Requests

1. Kirk will come back to Greenville so we can disciple him.
2. Raise much needed money towards our budget…we still need to raise $6,000.
3. Steve to get back in fellowship with God.
4. Pray that more bikers will attend our services. Several new couples told me that they will be attending our services in the next couple of weeks. Praise God!

Fall: Busy Time

Biketoberfest in Daytona Beach (Oct. 18-22) is coming up as well as a lot of day runs. Please keep us in prayer for witnessing and safety.

Running Low

We are running low on Bibles and study books and we need to raise money to stock up. The price of paper just keeps going up. We will be sending out a Christmas letter to help raise enough funds to restock all of the books we give away for free.

I want to sincerely thank those who have been supporting us with gifts and prayers. You have been an incredible blessing over the years. We lost a big supporter last year to the amount of $500.00 a month which we now need to make up. Please keep this matter in your prayers. God is in control and, even though we did nothing wrong to lose the support; we also know that God can open the doors to fill the void!
