Cherokee Rally

This was by far the best Cherokee Rally ever. God blessed financially and gave us many opportunities to witness for Him.

We did not have the money to attend this rally. Two checks came in unexpectedly the week before the rally for the general fund, but the amount was no were near to what we needed for the rally. God gave me His peace that He could supply the money, but if He did not,  I had peace not to go.
The day before I was to leave I got an email telling me that a person had been praying and God lead him to supply the money needed for the rally. What a blessing that was and then something else happened, our insurance withdrew 10 days earlier than normal and took two thirds of the money for the trip,  the morning I was to leave. I asked God what I was supposed to do? He gave me His peace to go, so I left with not enough money to cover the whole trip. That night at the hotel about 11:30 pm I was connecting the trailer to the bike when I heard someone say "Hello Mr. Taylor". I turned around and saw a man whom I did not know. I asked who he was and how he knew me. He told me that he was the manger of the hotel and that he knew me, because I had been coming to this hotel for many years. He said he keeps up with the people who attend regularly.
We had never met until this night. I was impressed that he took the time to get to know me without ever meeting. We talked about the rally and how high the prices were getting, too high for many bikers to attend. He then told me that he would see what he could do to help with my bill.I did not see him again and when I checked out the bill was $80.00 less than usually. This was the rest of the money I needed for the trip. I was praising the Lord and so excited to see God at work, using someone I did not know to meet my needs.

I went to the rally with a burden to witness to Ted and Beverly. They have attended the rally for many years and I have never had the right opportunity to go through the plan of salvation with them.Saturday morning Ted got up and came to my trailer. (The trailer is used to carry all the Bibles and study books. When I get to a rally, I use it for a display table. He tells me he needs something to read, so I gave him a tract.  After reading it he and Beverly started asking me many questions about God, and so I kept turning it around from working on the display and told them that it all starts with getting saved. They did not get saved, but they did hear the plan of salvation, and we had a good talk about the things of God. I truly believe that they are under the convicting power of God. Please keep them in your prayers.

We had many more opportunities to witness. I came back from this rally so excited about how God worked in many lives, He took care of us at the same time. My faith grew because of what God did for us at this rally. Praise God for His faithfulness.

Financial Report

God bless us with a new ministry supporter who is giving us $200.00 a month, since our  last newsletter.  We are praising God, because He is working in our lives and in this ministry.

If you know of anyone who would prayerfully consider us for support, please let us know. We need to raise $650.00 a month more support to break even and we are still $8,000.00 behind for the year.
