Special Blessing

God has blessed me with a 2002 Road King Harley Davidson motorcycle. About 4 years ago during Bike Week in Daytona Beach, a couple (Allen & Linda) from Mississippi came by and took some books from us. Three months later Allen called and shared with me how a friend of his came to know Christ through those books.  During the next couple of years, Allen and his wife began supporting us on a monthly basis, and we got to know each other. Last December, he called me and told me how God had led him to give me his bike.  He thought that I needed to ride more comfortably to all the rallies. I am 63 this year, and this bike is so very comfortable to ride. What a blessing from God! He continues to take care of us.  Pray that God will bless Allen and Linda for their sacrificial gift.

Upcoming Rallies

April 11 - I will be part of a Sunday service for ABATE during a nation wide convention here in Greenville, SC. They have asked me to pray at the main dinner Saturday night and have a service on Sunday, too. There will be many unsaved bikers from the Eastern part of the United States. This will be a great opportunity to give out the Word of God to some who may never have heard of His love.

April 23 -25 - Cherokee Rally, Cherokee, NC. The manager told me last Sept. that I cannot set up there anymore. Please pray that God will change his mind. We have been setting up there for the past 13 years and have established a good place for ministry in that spot. I have emailed him in the hopes that he will change his mind.

May 11-16 - Myrtle Beach Rally.  I am not sure if we are going this year. We are waiting for the court's decision which should take place in the next couple of weeks.

May 28-31 – Rolling Thunder - Washington DC. We always have great opportunities to witness there.

June 4-5 - Southern Throttle Rally - here in Greenville. This is the first year for this rally. Pray that we will be able to setup in the right spot.

Bike Week FL.

We had the coldest Bike Week (Daytona Beach Fl) in the 20 years we have been going. It was one the the best times for us in our opportunities to witness. There were 22 bikers whom we talked with, plus all the literature that was taken. We have a friend who drove down in his car and brought some extra cases of literature for us when we ran out. Joe rode down with me and was a great help.  Wilton came down Thursday night, worked the rest of the week, and rode back with me.

Jerry from Gaffney, SC came up to our wagon. After talking to him for a short while I asked him, if he died, would he know for sure he would go to heaven. He asked me "can anybody really know?"  I showed him some verses. I opened our tract and gave him an illustration using a court room, to show him how someone gets saved. He took the tract and a book (Basics for Believers) with him. Three hours later,  I checked my phone and saw a voice mail there. It was Jerry, who was bubbling over with joy and telling me how the court room illustration and the books helped him understand his salvation in Christ. Two hours later he shows up again and is so excited about his salvation, and how we helped him get back on the right track with God. Every one around him could not help but get excited. Jerry is a different man. Praise God for His work.

I spoke to Big Mike who ran the cigar store behind where we were and got to know him during the week.  We gave him a tract the last day and talked with him about Christ.

Daniel was another opportunity that we had to witness to. We are holding a Bible Study with him on the web. He lives in PA and we figured out a way to have Bible Studies with bikers in other states using the web and it is working. Pray for his salvation.

Pray for salvation for Big Mike, Eddie and wife, Joe, Mike, Tom, Mike,and David. You will note there are three different bikers, who are called Mike. God knows who they are.
